Research Services at the Central Library in Copley Square

Research Services librarians are available at the information desk in the Washington Room of the McKim Building on the 2nd floor.

Research Services offers expert research and study assistance on all subjects. Librarians can help you with searching the library’s print and online collections and our online databases of articles and research sources. For any items the library does not own, librarians can assist patrons with requesting material from other libraries.

Reference Services at Branch Libraries

Each branch library offers expert research and study assistance on all subjects. Librarians are available to assist patrons with searching the library’s print and electronic resources, and all other collections online and in our buildings. For any items the library does not own, librarians can assist patrons with requesting material from other libraries.
