Life sciences include sciences that study the organic world, including biology, microbiology, zoology, botany, conservation, and human physiology.

Topics in this guide include:

  • Biology -- A science that deals with things that are alive (such as plants and animals.
  • Conservation -- The protection of animals, plants, and natural resources; the careful use of natural resources (such as trees, oil, etc.) to prevent them from being lost or wasted.
